Buckinghamshire Council granted planning permission in October 2023 for this development on part of the HW8 site allocated in Wycombe District’s Local Plan 2019. Construction started in December 2024 and this website will enable you to keep up to date with how works progress.
The planning application 21/08364/FUL can be viewed on Buckinghamshire Council’s planning portal.
Concurrently, a detailed Reserved Matters application for the northern section of the site is being prepared by Hawridge Land, which will be submitted to Buckinghamshire Council for determination later this year.

FAQs
What was the cause of a fire on the site?
On 25 April 2024 Bellway Homes attended site after the Fire service alerted the company to a fire having been started on site. It was discovered that a break-in had happened, illegally tipped waste dumped and then set alight. After the Fire service put out the fire, the Environment Agency asked for testing to be carried out on the waste, before being cleared from the site.
What was the cause and consequences of the flooding?
On the night of 4 January 2025 there was snowfall, followed by extremely heavy rain and on 5 January water ran down through woodland behind Badger Way causing flooding. Due to concerns about the potential impact on the local badger population, ecologists conducted a survey. This found that the badgers were unharmed.
